Mental Health Awareness Week

Each year, we ask schools and organisations to Be Out There by taking lessons outside, hold an outdoor assembly, walk a mile together or turn lunchtime into an outdoor picnic. It is entirely up to you and what works best for your school, staff and pupils!

What makes the Be Out There campaign unique is that your fundraising will be allocated back to your pupils. By raising £1 per pupil for Stop.Breathe.Think your fundraising will provide access to vital mental health and wellbeing support for your pupils.

For example, for every £249 raised one of your pupils can be supported with six online counselling sessions and have access to our wellbeing drop-in sessions and 24/7 text support service.

Being outdoors improves mental health. It is also extensively proven that young people can learn better and achieve more when learning outside, feeling happier and healthier as a result.  We would love for your school to be involved in raising awareness of mental health and support Stop.Breathe.Think at the same time!

If you would like to be involved contact – we can send you further free resources including information to share with staff, parents and pupils, assembly ideas and mental health and wellbeing lesson plans for Mental Health Awareness Week.
