Two of our core Stop.Breathe.Think team members had a wonderful time recently at the Elephant and Castle Careers Fair, at the kind invitation of Delancey and Elephant and Castle Town Centre.
Two of our core Stop.Breathe.Think team members had a wonderful time recently at the Elephant and Castle Careers Fair, at the kind invitation of Delancey and Elephant and Castle Town Centre.
Lucy Sheehan, our Fundraising Manager and Kate McCarthy, our Service Coordinator, spent the day with a designated Stop.Breathe.Think stand at the fair and had some really productive and interesting chats promoting SBT to young people and parents in the area. They also spoke with other youth organisations and other potential partners to our service.
In Kate’s words, ‘we had a very positive & enjoyable day!’ Lucy adds, ‘We got so many great reactions from members of the community stopping by, telling us their mental health story and why services like ours are so important. We also learnt a lot, with people describing what they’d like to see in a mental health service. I hope we can continue spreading the word like this!’
We are very grateful to have had the chance to speak directly with the public and other professionals, so a big ‘thank you’ to Delancey and Elephant and Castle Town Centre team for hosting us!
