If you’re struggling right now

Stop.Breathe.Think is not a crisis service. If you are experiencing any of the below, it’s important that you seek immediate support. We’ve provided some suggestions and resources that can help you right now.

If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm, suicide, intrusive thoughts, hearing voices or hallucinations, you do not have to face this alone. These feelings can be overwhelming and frightening but support is available right now.

What you can do immediately

  • Talk to someone you trust – a friend, family member, teacher or trusted adult.
  • Contact your GP or another health professional as soon as possible.
  • If you feel unsafe, call 999 or go to your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E) department.

Crisis Support

  • Samaritans – Call 116 123 (free, 24/7) to talk to someone about how you’re feeling.
  • Childline – Call 0800 1111 (free, confidential, for under-19s).
  • Shout – Text 85258 to be connected with a trained volunteer who can support you.
